I collaborate with a small group of trusted and respected colleagues. We work on specific projects in organisations committed to achieving results with engaged people, motivated individuals and high-performing teams. We have a commitment to craft relevant interventions of benefit to those organisations, their clients and the communities they serve. Sue Hornblow

Facilitator/ Executive Coach/ Trainer

I have over twenty years experience in consulting, management and sales across a broad range of sectors. My early career as a winemaker developed my ability to work with a diverse group of people across the winery to help make great wine.

As a Sales Manager at both a regional and national level, I enhanced my leadership and strategic skills. Since 2002 I have used my expertise as a facilitator and trainer to help individuals and organisations achieve results. My clients come from a diverse range of industries, including the Public Sector, Banking, Finance FMCG, and Manufacturing.

Outside of work I can be found sailing on the glorious Waitemata harbour, enjoying time with friends and family. Other interests include live theatre, great food, skiing and keeping fit.

Alex Sutherland

Facilitator and Management Development Coach

Alex has over 35 year’s experience in public and private sector organisations. He, therefore, brings in-depth and personal knowledge of the challenges encountered by individuals and teams in today’s dynamic business environment. Alex works with individuals and teams as a coach and facilitator to enhance effectiveness in the areas of strategic planning, change leadership and engagement. He is a master trainer of the ABCs of Effective Relationships and has tailored this material for senior Public Servants keen to enhance their interactions with colleagues and clients and for managers wanting frameworks and resources for coaching of their colleagues. Alex leads the facilitation of the Ministry of Health’s Growing Leaders programme. He facilitates the Leadership Development Centers Leadership in Practice Programme and NZIM Southern’s advanced management programme. 

   

Rob Handyside

Facilitation Expert

Rob is an experienced facilitator and leadership development practitioner.

Rob signed out of a public sector Regional Manager position eleven years ago to take up consulting work. He launched his own business in 2006. These days Rob has an interesting portfolio of work which includes facilitation, facilitation training and leadership development. Rob also has a part time contract as Director of Education and Development with the New Zealand Parole Board.

Rob has undertaken Master classes in facilitation with Chuck Philips of NTL, Sam Kaner and Sarah Fisk at Community at Work and with the graphic recorders at The Grove. He has worked with Tony Mann at Resource Strategic Change (UK) in the development of facilitator training.

 

  

Alex Smith

Executive Educator, Coach & Facilitator

Alex specialises in leadership development, leadership team effectiveness and the creation of trust based business partnerships and collaborations.

Alex has with 20 years experience as an HR and OD leader in professional and financial service organisations. He is particularly interested in raising awareness for how unseen forces in organisational life get in the way of effective leadership and an organisations full capability.

Alex seeks to develop leaders who think and act systemically, equipped to deal with complexity and change, whilst holding on to an authentic identity.

In 2012 Alex migrated to NZ with his NZ born wife and 2 daughters. He is a passionate choral singer, a trainee rugby referee and a Leader in his daughters’ Sea Scout group.
